Congratulations to Sarah Elson who has won the Mandorla Art Award'sĀ major $30,000 acquisitive prize, sponsored by St John of God Health Care.

Pictured is Sarah's winning work, 390 Acts of Love. Commenting on how this work and her practice resonate with the 2024 theme of 'Refocus', she said:

"During a time of personal re-focus after grief and loss I felt the importance of making each part of my practice an intentional act of remembrance, love and gratitude."

The work, with its assemblage of tiny plant parts and gifted metal pieces, commemorates the fragments of time, memory and love collected over one's lifetime.

Well deserved, Sarah!
