Sandra Black // Solace

Sandra Black presents Solace – her first solo exhibition at Art Collective WA. Tracing a sequence of journeys through Australian landscapes, the works move gently across the country from the south of Western Australia through Tasmania to the Pilbara. These beautiful yet adverse environments shape the exhibition’s contemplative tone. Within the silence and endurance of country that is weathered by fire, storm and human presence, a subtle reckoning with fragility unfolds, accompanied by deep reverence for the land as a source of strength and restoration.

Created in memory of a beloved sister, the works offer an intimate reflection on shared journeys and landscapes of childhood, grief and quiet renewal.
