New work from Paul Uhlmann focuses on the beauty of impermanence within everyday life. Impermanence recognises that we are interconnected to all living beings and part of a universe of constant and continual change. There is a sense of the miraculous within small things around us such as decaying flowers, the hoot of a Boobook owl in the middle of the night, transitions of colour within the evening sky or a cloud breaking up and forming overhead. We do not need to wait for some other time to experience the deep joy within these moments. In an age of digital distraction, pausing to attend to such small wonders becomes a powerful act of our shared humanity.
