When discussing his work Paul Uhlmann states: ‘All of the work addresses the concept of becoming where everything, all of life is forever understood as being in a state of continual change. The subject is either clouds, sky, smoke or gas – mutable changeable substances of air which act as metaphors of impermanence. The surfaces are highly reflective to reflect the presence of the viewer’.
