Helen Smith’s new 'Arc Drawings' explore how light, colour and movement can shift the way we see. Inspired by oscillations in physics, arcs of colour travel across a grid, gently unsettling the flat surface and creating moments of visual play. Optical illusions invite viewers to look closely, as the works seem to move or change depending on where you stand. This real or imagined sense of shifting perception creates a lively back‑and‑forth between different ways of seeing.
