New works by Frank Morris are as much a result of oscillating relationships of form and colour as they are a reflection of a decision methodology, and Frank's unique approach to art making - creating works that can be positioned through 360 degrees.

Frank Morris was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, in 1956 and has lived in Western Australia since a teenager. He has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts at Curtin University of Technology in 1995. His work has been acquired by numerous Collections, including the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Artbank and Bankwest.

'Painting is complex and complicated.
Within the studio it is an activity of shared agency.
Literal, figurative and metaphorical conversations overlap and inform.
It is not illustration.

Rock, Paper, Scissors alludes to oscillating relationships and a methodology for decisions.
It also happens to be the name of a hairdressing salon which I pass on my way to the studio.
As for ‘Sigh’ ?
Well, a Sigh, is a Sigh, is a Sigh.'
