Across a career spanning five decades, Sandra Black’s practice has been deeply shaped by travel throughout Australia — from the southern coast of Western Australia to Tasmania and the Pilbara. Hear how these experiences in vastly different environments inform her response to the natural world, seen in porcelain vessels etched with coral-like textures and delicate surface imagery that evoke weathered landscapes.
