Minaxi May at Art Gallery of Western Australia

Presented at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Re-PLAY is a dynamic participatory exhibition by artist member Minaxi May. The exhibition reignites the power of play as a catalyst for creativity, connection and joy, inviting audiences to follow curiosity, experiment with ideas and trust impulsive forms of making. 

Featuring tactile, interactive installations and vibrant use of colour, Re-PLAY is an entirely unplugged experience that foregrounds hands-on engagement and shared participation. Designed for audiences of all ages and abilities, the exhibition offers a space where imaginative play operate as joyful counterpoints to the structures, schedules and screen-based rhythms of contemporary life.

Located in Gallery 09, Re-PLAY is open daily from 10am–5pm until 22 February 2026. Entry is free.
