Jo Darbyshire // Our Sixth Monograph
Back Our Book: A Major Monograph on Jo Darbyshire
Art Collective WA is proud to announce that our next artist monograph will celebrate the remarkable four‑decade career of Western Australian artist, curator and cultural historian Jo Darbyshire. We invite you to help us bring this significant publication to life.
Jo Darbyshire works across painting, installation, public art and socially engaged projects, drawing from archives, oral histories and the cultural memory of place. Alongside her artistic practice, Jo has made a profound contribution as a cultural historian.
Planned for publication in April 2027, this fully illustrated monograph will feature key works from across Jo’s career and newly commissioned essays by leading writers including Kelly Gellatly (Chair, Sheila Foundation). Produced in Western Australia and distributed nationally, the book will position the artist's practice within broader Australian contemporary discourse.
