Installation Contemporary: Alex Spremberg

Alex Spremberg has been selected to exhibit as part of Installation Contemporary at Sydney Contemporary in September 2017.

Curated by Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia Rachel Kent and Assistant Curator Megan Robson, Installation Contemporary presents and exhibition of ambitious and large-scale artworks throughout the Carriageworks Precinct.

Installation Contemporary 2017 brings together 15 contemporary Australian and International artists working across a range of mediums from painting and sculpture, drawing and ceramics, through to installation and video. Responding to the unique architecture of Carriageworks the exhibition showcases ambitious and large-scale artworks by established and senior artists such as Betty Kuntiwa Pumani, Nike Savvas and Maio Motoko alongside a younger generation of artists including Richard Lewer, Lara Merrett, Sanné Mestrom and teamLab.
