// PERTH ROYAL ART PRIZE FOR LANDSCAPE
A huge congratulations to Andre Lipscombe whose Crustose Painting was awarded first place at the Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape. Created with thousands of paint layers on repurposed timber, the work draws on the slow resilience of native Crustose Lichens that typically grow 1mm a year on very hard substrates.

Jo Darbyshire, Hiroshi Kobayashi and Jacky Cheng have been named finalists in the 2025 Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award, Australia’s premier printmaking exhibition now in its 47th year. Until 21 September.
