Congratulations to Jon Tarry, whose sculpture 'SYD Airport' has been acquired by Sydney Airport after being exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi. Jon's musical collaboration Baggage Handler with Dom Mariani also recently released their new album 'Nothing to Declare', launching on Saturday 9 November at The Backlot.

Stuart Elliott's solo exhibition Diasporae opened at Holmes à Court Gallery on 2 November. Featuring a series of sculpture, painted wall works, digital prints and video, the exhibition explores Stuart's interest in built environments which have been abandoned, degraded and superseded. Until 14 December.

Jeremy Kirwan-Ward is presenting his first solo exhibition in Sydney at Chauffeur Gallery. Titled Situations, the exhibition features new works which evoke a sense of atmospheric light through non-representational painting. Showing until 23 November.

Congratulations to Jen Cochrane who was awarded one of the 2024 Helen Lempriere Scholarships at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi. With her scholarship, Jen plans to enhance her workshop with new tools and undertake study trips, including a woodworking course in Europe and a research trip to the Pilbara.

A group exhibition at Five Walls gallery in Melbourne, Structured Visions II is curated by Cathy Blanchflower and features works by Jurek Wybraniec and Alex Spremberg. It presents twelve artists from Australia and Thailand working within the field of abstraction. Showing from 15 November – 7 December.

Susan Roux and Merrick Belyea are showing works in the John Stringer Prize Retrospective, celebrating the Prize's 10th anniversary with an exhibition of works by its previous winners at John Curtin Gallery. Showing until 15 December. Merrick is presenting an artist talk, alongside other exhibitors, on Sunday 24 November from 12.30pm.
