Eveline Kotai chats to Andre Lipscombe about her work, in conjunction with her exhibition and monograph launch at Art Collective WA, Perth. Recorded on 25 May 2019.
Traversing painting, drawing, print and stitched collage, Eveline’s work conveys technical aptitude and a deep sense of subject – leading to the production of continually unexpected colour, pattern and textural combinations.
The monograph, 'Invisible Threads', is the third book in Art Collective WA's publishing program, celebrating the artists that live and work in Western Australia. The book features essays by national writer and curator Julie Ewington, arts writer Nyanda Smith and author Helen Thurloe.
